Your tasks will include:
- Lead all Software Development
- Develop ROS2 nodes and launch files
- Evaluate different ROS2 packages
- Implement and train machine learning models
- Test and deploy code inside both a simulated environment and directly onboard our vessels
- Expend the capabilities of our simulation environment
- Troubleshooting issues during lab and in-field tests
Your Experience
- You have at least 5+ years of industry experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2
- Strong C++ and Python skills
- Work in a structured and proactive manner
- Good documentation and communication skills in English
- Strong Linux skills
- Experience with Micro-ROS is beneficial
- Knowledge of NMEA 2000, 0183 and CANopen standards is beneficial
- A portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded
